Spotlight: Bangkok (กรุงเทพมหานคร)

Spotlight Since launching, we’ve seen Instagram spread from our headquarters in the Bay Area to every corner of the globe. In this series we’ll highlight top users from countries and cities with thriving Instagram communities.

In 2012, Bangkok, Thailand, proved to be one of Instagram’s most photographed cities. More photos were shared at Suvarnabhumi Airport than anywhere else in the world!

With such a vibrant Instagram community, how could we not do a Bangkok spotlight? To get a local’s perspective of Bangkok, be sure to follow these Instagrammers:

BAD THINGS (TRISTAN & DANIKA 1) by R.K. LILLEY Talk about one hot, steamy & romantic stories. RK Lilley is a force to be reckon with and the way she wrote this story and her other books is beyond what a hot & steamy scene is there to imagine. Her Up In The Air series is one of it and man, I looooooooooved that series and then this.  Bad Things tells a story of two opposite individuals who met in an unexpected manner. They hit it off right away. I think they are curious bout each other at first glance and boy, the attraction is really there. If you’ve read Up In The Air series, you know Tristan & Danika. They made their appearance in Grounded, the last book in the series and I personally got sooo curious to what happened to them. In Grounded, it was revealed that Tristan & Danika had something strong but we didn’t get to see what that really means. They had a bad past and in this book we get to see how it all started.  A man whore in Tristan and a relationship kind of girl in Danika. That’s a heady & frustrating combination but what I like about their relationship is that they started off as friends though it was not your typical “friendship” with the opposite sex but it was a good foundation. They both know they are attracted to each other but they’re just denying it coz they know they are sooooo opposite. They got to know each other in their sort of “friendship” and as it blossom so as their feelings for each other. It was like a push & pull scenario. Reading chapter after chapter, it made me hopeful that they will give in to their feelings but RK is clever and she left us wanting & longing but in the end, Tristan & Danika let it all happen.  I am not disappointed or anything, I love the story it’s just that I was thinking, before reading this book that it will be revealed what had happened to Tristan & Danika. If you’ve read Grounded, it was obvious in that book that Danika was hurt and it seems like she doesn’t want anything to do with Tristan and her legs. Something bad happened that she is limping in that book and I really wanted to know what happened. The setting in Bad Things is before Up IN The Air so I am guessing that in book 2 it will be at the same time in the series or after. I am psyched to read book 2. My mind is thinking a lot of crazy things so I really, really need to read Rock Bottom.  You will swoooooon, feel hot and giddy reading this book. RK Lilley is, in my opinion one of the best authors of this genre and she did an amazing job writing this spin-off. :)                                                         ♥

Because I know it very well that there’s nothing law really can resolve single-handly, always other concerns and forces intervening. Therefore, Copyright codes like #DMCA are a bunch of bully tools protect nothing but certain interest of whom pushed the bill. If #tumblr don’t exhibit how lawfully a #curator can perform its work without violating any regulation and be deleted unnoticed, I suggest we go elsewhere whose site is not located in DMCA members’ domain like #tumblr in NY.
